Wall of fame

Thursday night equals quiz night at Mjøndalen Gjæstgiveri, the pub in Mjøndalen. Yesterday I went there and I took this photo of the quiz's wall of fame, where the proud quiz winners get their photo posted. Yesterday, my friends and I came only second, but last time we actually won, and to my delight and to my friends' horror, our photo is now on the wall of fame too!!

Welcome to my blog!
As the title reveals, I will post a daily photo from Eiker. At least I will try to do it daily. Some days it might be forgotten, other days I might simply just not have the time. Nevertheless, I hope you will enjoy it!

About Eiker
Eiker is a small region, about 60 kilometres southwest of Oslo.
The region consists of two municipalities: Øvre Eiker, in the upper part of the region, where half of the population lives in the little city of Hokksund, and the other half is concentrated in and around the villages of Vestfossen, Skotselv, Ormåsen and Darbu. Nedre Eiker is situated in the lower part of the region, with the villages Mjøndalen, Krokstadelva, Solbergelva and Steinberg.
